Does custody need a trigger event?

No. The beneficiary can retrieve the custody material at any time, with no trigger event, no release procedure and no objection — within five business days of asking.

What belongs in custody?

Documentation, runbooks and operating material: what your customer needs to run the system day to day, rather than the source code to rebuild it.

How often is material deposited?

At the frequency the agreement sets. Weekly is standard and daily is available. An additional deposit outside that frequency, at the beneficiary's request, costs €250.
